So, that plan to lose forty or thirty or heck, ten pounds in three days isn't going so well. Don't know why. I only had a few pieces of Halloween candy and it was half price at Walgreen's, which means it should have been half-calorie, too, right? And I skipped all healthy food, which we all know is loaded with calories.
Tomorrow I'll be at my class reunion, trying really hard to look 18 again ;-) and probably not pulling that off too well, LOL. I'm bringing two dresses with me. The one for having too much dinner the night before and the one for if I manage to be a good girl and not eat too much and stick to the losing a gazillion pounds overnight plan.
Yeah, which one do you think I'll end up wearing? ;-)
I'm excited, though, to see everyone from high school. I know, I know. I can hear everyone out there, saying, "ARE YOU NUTS?" No one likes to go back and revisit those years. But hey, I think it'll be fun. I went to DH's class reunion a couple months ago and though I only knew a few people there, I had a blast. By our age, most people have matured enough that it actually is fun, and we're not playing that one upmanship game so much.
Though I bet I'm not the only one trying to get my waistline down a few inches at the last minute ;-)

We didn't have a 10 yr reunion.. :(
ReplyDeleteand I have a feeling, there won't be any in the future unless someone steps up and organizes it. so much for our student government.
i shouldn't think it'd be too hard to track everyone down, since there were only 42 of us!
We didn't have a 10 or a 15 (I don't think) either, but we are having a 20, so I bet people will get together, or someone will, before the 20 rolls around!

LOL. Not bringing any books with me (they won't fit in the teeny tiny purse ;-) but will have some bookmarks, just in case :-)
