Nominate Your Favorite Book

Voting is underway for Best Romance of 2007! If you have a book you read and loved last year, go here and either nominate it or vote for it.

On my end, I just finished the SECOND book of the month (well, this barely qualifies, it was a 10k online read, but still, two big things in one month...lots of hurting fingers on my end). I have a proposal to finish tomorrow and then I am free for a whole week. My house needs me back, LOL. So many little projects to attend to.

And I haven't been sharing any recipes because my family has been eating JUNK for weeks. When I am stuck on deadline like that, writing a gazillion words a day, cooking a cool meanl isn't on my agenda. I did make the pork tenderloin that I have run on my blog before, but other than that, it hasn't been anything more complicated than a jar of Barilla marinara sauce over some penne ;-)

Next week, though, I'm ordering one of those freezer loads of beef from the butcher. Then there will be no excuse to grab a can of Campbell's and tell the kids to fend for themselves ;-)

Oh, and I'm reading three books at once! Vanish by Tess Gerritsen, One Door Away from Heaven by Dean Koontz (that book is HUGE) and I just picked up Duma Key by Stephen King. One Door is really good, so I think I'l finish that first (it took a while to get into it, becuase it was a little confusing, but the story of the boy is very compelling, and that carried me through the story, for sure. I am turning the pages at a very rapid pace to see what happens to him!).

    Hi Shirley,

I just finished Really Something last night and I loved it! I wanted to know what is the name of the book that the excerpt in the back is called so I can look out for it!
    Thanks,
    Hollie
