My good friend Sue, who is coming to the end of long deadline (a book she has affectionately...maybe not so affectionately ;-) dubbed the Opus) asked me what I thought would be good empty-the-brain entertainment when she puts aside her keyboard.
Well, being a TV-holic, I totally had an opinion on that. I can veg with the best of them. Lay like broccoli, as Julia Roberts says in "Pretty Woman." Being that it's Thursday, it's the right day for my TV choice, that venerable educational show, a true study in human character.
My Name is Earl.
Okay, so it's not exactly Harvard material. But it is hilarious and it is good. And if you want to read why I think it's awesome to watch, click on over to this blog.
I didn't run this morning. I was tired, poor me. Played Monopoly with my youngest, then worked until nearly midnight. Getting up at 4:30 a.m. is just a tad tough after that ;-)

That was a good one! I loved the bad kids' camp one, too. And the one with the dad's car.
ReplyDeleteDo you watch "The Office?" My all-time favorite is the bubble wrap one. That and the one where they put all of Dwight's stuff in the soda machine. Oh, and when they read all of Dwight's complaints out loud -- all the hilarious stuff that Jim has done to him over the years.
